Thanks for coming to my blog! I always find it such a fun novelty that people actually want to read it. :) I don't blog for fame or fortune, but it has been an awesome outlet at times when I just really needed a voice.

I totally get the ages of your kids thing ... my twins go to kindergarten this year and then my baby will go the next year. (I still call her my baby - she'll be 4 soon.) She'll always be one year behind in all of those things. That is just such a different perspective than the moms who have their kids 3 years apart (I'm not criticizing them - just sometimes I'm jealous of them! ha ha!).

Judging by the response to your recent post, I'd say it's evident you need to keep blogging. I am in the same funk as you are. There are a million stay at home, homeschooling moms out there bloggins, so what in the world would I have to add to the conversation, right? And it does take a lot of time to blog regularly. I still don't know how these women with ten kids do it.

But I do find it so rewarding that there is a large community you can reach out to that you may not find in your home town. And like you said, you will have a record of your experiences that you might not have if you weren't blogging. Keep it up!

Wooo-hooooo!! So happy to see you back at blogging. I'm thinking about scaling back my posts a bit too, but still keeping up with the blog without pressuring myself to respond back to comments immediately and visit every blog in my reader every day :D I think that's the only way to keep your sanity blogging for the long haul. Post some pics for sure!!!!!
Think of all the money you will save if you can't visit Starbucks again :D

I so wish I had found blogging when my twins were babies. Not that I would have had time to read or blog much. But it would have been nice to know that I wasnt crazy! I had a 3 yr old and the twins and I was a stay at home mom who felt like a single mom cause my husband was working All. Day. Long - and sometimes nights!

I have loved catching up. I mean, it almost makes me feel grateful living in a broken down house waiting for 4 years for our new one... at least I've not had to move with 3 kids in tow. Kudos!

And OHMYLORD - Housewives? And I'm the chick who gets busted trying to take cellphone pictures of plumber cracks at gas stations... so I wouldn't know if Starbucks pictures are classy or not ;)

You're not a slob. Or maybe I'm one too! Honestly, is putting our personal appearance low on the priority list a bad thing, if keeping ourselves healthy and whole is somewhere up high?

I'm glad to see you back. My philosophy on blogging is this: it is for ME. If it stresses me out, I back off for a while. When it starts to feel like an obligation, I take a break.

For me, at least, blog time is sanity time-- and sometimes all I have of it!

Good to see you back in the blogosphere! I still have you in my reader and was excited to see a new post from you.

I get where you're coming from. Blogging takes time. And like most moms, time is not something I have a lot of. But I like that I can record things on my blog- things that I want to remember, that I'll want to share with my kids someday. And so I press ahead. Some weeks I may have 3 or 4 posts, while other weeks I have none. I'm okay with that. Our blogs can and should be whatever we want them to be.

I'm sure the move and all hasn't been easy. I hope you're starting to feel more at home in California. Can't wait to hear more about what it's like for you there.
